Ayça Üvez, Istanbul University-Cerrahpasa

Assistant Professor of Histology and Embryology at Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Istanbul University- Cerrahpasa in Istanbul, Turkiye. She holds a doctorate in Histology and Embryology, with her dissertation focusing on the effects of mangiferin and paclitaxel combinations on cancer treatment using in vitro and in vivo methods. Her research addresses cancer therapies, particularly mechanisms like apoptosis, autophagy, and angiogenesis, emphasizing innovative strategies using natural compounds.

Sima Kılıç, Istanbul University

Assistant Researcher of Institute of Nanotechnology and Biotechnology, Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa in Istanbul, Türkiye. She is head of DETALAB, Laboratory Animal Facility at Istanbul University–Cerrahpaşa, as a veterinarian. She is studying for her PhD at Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Department of Histology and Embryology.
